Imagine Hosting Your Very Own Wine Tasting

Just think – in a few short months, the weather will be getting warmer, the trees will start to grow green again, and it’s been FOREVER since you’ve had all of your besties gathered together. Sharing laughs and stories of the past or since you last caught up with them.
You might be thinking of a reason to bring your crew together and sometimes you don’t need a BIG reason to celebrate. Just some wine, some snacks, your favorite people, and me – to walk you through an experience almost as fun-filled as stopping at wineries in Napa Valley, except in the comfort of your own home.
Schedule Your Date
First and foremost, getting a date to align with your full schedule and all of your friends can be challenging enough, let alone adding in more (fun!). Whether I’m reaching out to you, or you’re contacting me, I bet we can’t find the perfect time!
TIP: Book in advance!
I’ve had people schedule a tasting as early as two weeks away up to months in advance as they awaited for family and friends from out of state to be in town for a holiday.
I’ll have some questions for you to answer to get your fundraiser event page all set up – including some personal information for your ONEHOPE account (this helps you get amazing rewards and perks), a non profit that you love supporting (10% of all sales from your event go to any 501c3 non profit organization of your choosing), and wine preferences!
Tasting Kits
OneHope has curated 2 tasting kits for hosts to choose from, the Award Winning 90+ and the Best Sellers. These offer a great selection of varietals and price points. If you wish to choose different wines, there is a Build-Your-Own option for an additional cost.
These kits are available to hosts for $49 + tax and shipping. Each kit represents our Curated Wine Club offering which is outlined below (Retail → Wine Club pricing)

Pre-Party Check List
Once we have all of the details to get your event page set up, it’s time to get ready to party! Some next steps would be to organize your guest list and decide to send out physical invites OR create a Facebook event to post all of the party updates for your guests! If we decide to create a Facebook event, I’ll invite you to be a co-host to the event to invite your favorite people and I always have a few posts lined up to get the excitement rolling- Things like who I am and why I joined OneHope, current promos, and some sneak peeks of wines we’ll be tasting on the big day!
After all of that hard work is done, the fun stuff can begin! To prepare your home, you can keep it simple with some meats, cheeses, and fruits on a charcuterie board and some toss-away cups OR we can discuss a more curated experience like my very first tasting with Cassie – she did a Galentine’s Day theme with fun XOXO decor and charcuterie board, games, activities and more! It’s completely up to you!
On wine delivery day, I’ll follow up to make sure you got your wine and I’ll give instructions for chilling beforehand if needed.
Day Of Tasting
Today’s the big day! I’m sure you’ll spend some time leading up to your event with cleaning all the nooks and crannies, busting out some recipes in the kitchen, or finishing that last minute home project that just needed to get done! Whatever you decide to do to prepare your home, you can expect me to come early to help with anything last minute before your guests arrive. We can decide if you want me to come a couple hours early or if 15-20 minutes early is sufficient, that’s fine too!

Once all of your guests are comfortable, it’s my time to shine and you can sit back and mingle with your guests while I take the ropes!
I’ll take you through each of the 6 wines we chose while I share more about ONEHOPE including our wine club, gifting, promotions and the non-profit chosen. Orders will be taken at the end of the tasting and ONEHOPE sends donations directly to the organization that we raised funds for- Easy Peasy!
Post Event
Once your event is over while the excitement is still there, I will continue to engage with your guests. I will follow up with guests that did not attend the event and share the event link to encourage some extra orders on your event. I will also follow up with guests that did attend but didn’t place an order to make sure they don’t miss out! And lastly, I will encourage guests to host their own events too! I’ll be sure to remind everyone when the event page will close and shout out orders placed and how much we were able to raise for your non profit too!
