Some of my absolute favorite things are traveling, connecting with people, and stepping out of my comfort zone (sometimes more than I probably should). If you also like:

Then I see us instantly connecting. Our one precious life is a magical journey and we get to choose what makes us happy, what memories we create to share later on in life, and what risks are worth taking to make it worth it to us.
I’m here to spark inspiration, be vulnerable and share my journey of finding and creating the magic we get to experience every single day. It’s an honor that you’re here with me.
More About Me
Hey, I’m Erika Horstman! I grew up being known as the social butterfly all throughout school. It was so fitting to have grown up working many high school and college jobs in customer service roles from making sandwiches at Subway, retail and waitressing. I recently left my post-grad 8-5 Marketing and Communications job in pursuit of aligning my lifestyle and career in a way that I can spend more time prioritizing myself, my community, and new connections that are on their way.
I’ve done my fair share of diving into the unknown and I’m continuing to discover the things that truly align with my dream life. I left the country for the first time on a French class trip in High School. I studied abroad TWICE in college (okay 1 ½ times, we’ll get to that another time). I interned remotely during COVID and ALMOST moved to Denver, Colorado. But instead I moved my life to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where I’ve been for the past two years.
Since moving to Michigan, I have bought my first home, gained a furry friend, gone ice fishing, snowshoeing, and visited some of the most beautiful natural areas in the midwest. I have also overcome so much by adjusting to maintaining long distance friendships and discovering who I truly am- and that, my friend, will never come to an end. I’m so excited to take on this new adventure and continue discovering who I am and to make more and more memories to pass on to everyone I meet.
